The kit contains everything needed (shifter not included) to install your Competition\/Plus shifter to operate a 1969-1974 Muncie (452, 453) transmission. These transmissions can be identified by the fact they use a bolt to secure the shift arm to the shift fork on the transmission. Note: 1963-1968 Muncie (451) transmissions use a stud (with a nut) coming off the shift fork of the transmission to secure the shift arm to the transmission and will require a different installation kit then this one. | This kit will fit many GM applications and year ranges of vehicles, both with and without factory consoles and a 1969-1974 Muncie (452, 453) transmission.
