Chevrolet Performance LS3 430 hk long block-motorer bruger et imponerende kompressionsforhold på 10,7:1 til at yde 430 hk ved 5.900 omdr./min. og 620 Nm drejningsmoment ved 4.600 omdr./min. De har en motorblok af støbt aluminium med en krumtapaksel af nodulært jern, plejlstænger af pulveriseret metal og hypereutektiske stempler. Den hydrauliske stålknastaksel har et 1,25 cm indsugnings- og 1,25 cm udstødningsventilløft med 204 grader indsugnings- og 211 grader udstødningsventilvarighed ved 1,25 cm knastløft. Fronttilbehør, udstødningsmanifolde og svinghjul eller flexplate skal anskaffes separat sammen med motorstyringssættet.
