Performance Brake Rotors & Brake Drums

The brake rotor is the friction surface against which the brake pads are pressed to generate stopping force. Rotor quality directly affects braking performance, fade resistance, and the consistency of pedal feel under repeated hard use. A cheap, poorly manufactured rotor that warps under repeated heating cycles produces the steering wheel vibration and inconsistent pedal feel that undermines confidence in the braking system — and in a performance vehicle, braking confidence is directly related to how quickly you can stop.

With 631 rotor and drum products from Baer Brake Systems, our range is focused on quality performance rotors engineered to work as a matched system with Baer's calipers and pad compounds.

EradiSpeed and Claw Performance Rotors

Baer's EradiSpeed and Claw rotor ranges represent their performance street and track applications respectively. The Claw rotor — featuring Baer's distinctive curved vane design — provides excellent cooling airflow through the rotor body, rapidly dissipating the heat generated under hard repeated braking. This thermal management is the key to fade resistance: a rotor that stays cooler provides more consistent friction characteristics and maintains pad-to-rotor bite through prolonged hard braking sessions where a lesser rotor would begin to lose effectiveness.

Drilled and slotted rotor designs improve initial bite through the mechanical keying effect of the slots and the reduced swept area of drilled designs, and help to degas brake pads under heavy use — removing the layer of vaporised pad material that can temporarily reduce friction under extreme braking conditions.

Replacement Rotors and Service Parts

Quality replacement rotors for existing Baer brake systems maintain the performance and safety standards of the original installation. Using inferior replacement rotors on a performance brake system is a false economy — the pad and caliper are engineered to work with a specific rotor specification, and substituting a lower-quality rotor compromises the performance of the entire system. Our service parts range ensures correct specification replacement throughout the life of the system.
