The conservative factory calibrations that prioritise emissions compliance, long service intervals, and broad tolerance for variable fuel quality leave significant power and efficiency on the table — power that can be recovered with appropriate tuning. Handheld programmer devices allow modification of factory ECU parameters without the need for professional workshop equipment, making basic performance tuning accessible to any owner willing to invest time in understanding what they're adjusting.

With 38 tuning products from Superchips, DiabloSport, Edge, and ACCEL, our tuning device range covers the most popular American performance vehicle platforms with pre-programmed performance tunes and the ability to create custom calibrations for modified vehicles.

Handheld Tuners — Pre-Loaded Performance

Handheld tuner devices connect directly to the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port and allow the user to write pre-programmed performance calibrations that adjust shift points, fuel delivery, ignition timing, and rev limiters within the factory ECU. For vehicles running larger intake and exhaust modifications but otherwise factory internals, a well-calibrated tune can recover the power that was left on the table by the factory calibration and ensure the engine is correctly managing the improved airflow from those modifications.

Custom Tuning Platforms

For more significantly modified vehicles — those with camshaft upgrades, heads, forced induction, or other modifications that take the engine outside the range of pre-loaded maps — tuning platforms that support custom calibration from a professional tuner or experienced self-tuner provide the flexibility to build a calibration from scratch around the specific combination. Our range includes platforms that support both pre-loaded and fully custom tuning approaches.

Data Monitoring and Diagnostics

Many tuning devices double as scan tools and real-time data monitors — allowing the owner to read live sensor data, retrieve and clear fault codes, and monitor parameters like coolant temperature, air-fuel ratio, and manifold pressure during a drive. This data monitoring capability makes them useful tools for diagnosing problems and monitoring engine health even when tuning isn't the immediate priority.
