MSD-modulvælgerne giver mulighed for at skifte mellem to forskellige omdrejnings- eller gradmoduler. De forskellige moduler aktiveres, når der påføres 12 volt på den tilsvarende aktiveringsledning. Vælgerne fungerer enten med en Soft Touch Rev Control eller enhver MSD Timing Control, der bruger plug-in-moduler.
