Built to Withstand the Pressure
Chevrolet Performance engineers started with the bulletproof LSX Bowtie standard-deck block, then equipped it with a forged-steel crankshaft, forged connecting rods, and forged aluminium pistons to create a bottom end that thrives under extreme cylinder pressures. The top end features six-bolt LSX-LS3 aluminium cylinder heads with high-flow rectangular ports, designed to support high-rpm performance and boost-friendly airflow.
