High-Output Alternators for Performance Applications

Stock alternators are rated for the electrical loads of the original vehicle — often marginal for performance builds with significant additional electrical demands. A high-output alternator provides increased charge current at idle and through the operating range, ensuring the battery remains fully charged and all electrical systems receive adequate voltage even under maximum electrical load.
