Built for high performance applications, the Ford Performance 5.0L Coyote Gen 4 Aluminator SC crate engines are a powerhouse—ideal for custom race builds and 2024 GT Mustangs. While the Aluminator block, cylinder heads, oil pan, and intake manifold are factory pieces, Ford Performance replaces the hypereutectic pistons and sintered-steel rods with Mahle forged slugs, ARP 2000 rod bolts, and Manley forged H-beam rods, keeping the factory 12.0:1 compression ratio in naturally aspirated form and 9.5:1 on its boost-ready Aluminator crate. These flagship crates are quite popular with Ford diehards in the custom car and street rod world—because who really wants to put a Chevy LS in a deuce coupe?
