This all new tank is great! Fits 1/2 ton trucks and makes the popular conversion of mounting the tank under the bed a snap! Designed with ease of installation in mind. Removal of the original spare tire crossmember may be necessary. The special mounitng brackets make installing and removing the tank effortless. Top fill only. Requires fuel neck and sending unit.
Compatible with 1947-1953 Chevrolet/GMC Truck
- Steel conversion gas tank kit that mounts between the frame rails behind the rear axle
- Eliminates the factory in-cab gas tank
- Top fill style tank - requires modificaitons to add filler neck in the bed of the truck
