Key Features
Overview
The Haltech 400mm wideband flying lead adaptor provides the essential connection flexibility for relocating your wideband oxygen sensor in custom exhaust configurations. Perfect for turbo builds where space is tight, drift cars with relocated exhausts, or any application where the standard wideband harness length creates installation headaches.

Why You Need This
Anyone who's fitted a Haltech Elite or Nexus system to a modified platform knows the frustration: your wideband sensor needs to sit in the perfect exhaust position for accurate readings, but the standard harness length dictates where you can mount your ECU. This flying lead adaptor breaks that compromise. In turbo LS swaps, you often need the sensor downstream of the turbo but want the ECU mounted in the cabin or engine bay. Similarly, in RB25 or 2JZ builds with relocated exhausts for clearance, this harness prevents the sensor cable becoming the limiting factor in your installation.
The 400mm length is ideal for most applications — long enough to route around exhaust manifolds, turbo piping, or through bulkheads, but not so long that you're creating unnecessary cable loops that can pick up interference. We've used these extensively in our own builds where heat shielding requirements or fabricated exhaust systems demand sensor positioning that the standard wiring simply won't reach.
ECU & System Compatibility
Compatible with all Haltech WB1 and WB2 wideband controller systems across the Elite 550, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000, and 2500 ranges, plus Nexus R3, R5, and Rebel ECUs. Also works with standalone Haltech wideband controllers when extending sensor placement is required.
What's in the Box
- 400mm wideband flying lead extension harness with automotive-grade connectors

Complete Your Build
Most customers fitting this extension are also upgrading their wideband sensor positioning for optimal AFR monitoring. Consider pairing with a genuine Bosch LSU4.9 sensor and proper exhaust bung welding for professional results. Our technical team can advise on optimal sensor placement for your specific build — we stock complementary wiring components and have extensive experience with challenging installations across all platforms. Call us before you start fabricating to ensure your wideband system delivers the accuracy your tune demands.
