Overview
Professional brass step-up adaptor that converts 1/8" NPTF sensor ports to accept 3/8" NPTF temperature and pressure sensors. Essential for builds where you need to mount larger sensors in smaller factory ports, or when adapting aftermarket sensor configurations to match your Haltech ECU setup.

Why You Need This
Engine builders constantly face sensor port mismatches — your aftermarket oil temperature sensor is 3/8" NPTF but the factory sump has a 1/8" port, or you're upgrading to a larger coolant temperature sensor for better accuracy. This brass adaptor solves that problem permanently. We see this constantly in LS swap builds where factory GM sensors don't match aftermarket sensor configurations, or in Japanese engine swaps like 2JZ and RB25/26 where you're mixing OEM ports with modern Haltech sensor packages.
The 20mm length provides adequate clearance without excessive bulk, crucial in tight engine bays. Brass construction offers superior corrosion resistance compared to steel alternatives and won't seize like aluminium can in dissimilar metal applications. The NPTF (dry seal) threads create a leak-proof seal without requiring thread sealant, though we still recommend a light application of high-temp thread paste for insurance on critical applications like oil pressure sensing.
ECU & System Compatibility
Universal fitment for any sensor application requiring 1/8" to 3/8" NPTF conversion. Commonly used with Haltech Elite and Nexus ECU sensor installations, particularly for temperature and pressure monitoring where larger sensor bodies provide improved accuracy and response times.
