A universal ECU harness is the backbone of a reliable build. It sets the standard for signal integrity, serviceability, and future expansion. Calibration benefits from accurate sensors. Wire your lambda controller correctly with good grounds. Keep sensor grounds separate from high current grounds. Do not share ignition coil returns with MAP or TPS grounds. These basics remove noise that shows up as random sync losses or wavy sensor traces.

A tidy universal harness is easier to expand. When you add a second pump, a flex fuel sensor, or drive-by-wire, you will already have a clean route and labelled breakouts. Future-proofing saves rework.
