The BTR platinum spring kit would be inducted into the LS aftermarket hall of fame if such a thing existed. Whether you’re putting together a daily driver with a mild cam, a 600 hp N/A stroker, or a turbocharged 1000 hp brawler, our platinum spring kit will make sure your valves are right where your cam wants them to be at all times. They are designed to be used with stock rocker arms. This is a drop-in kit for LS heads with bronze guides and features our tip saver kit for your worn valve tips.

SL565060-16 locator kit for 0.565" ID bronze guides, 0.060" thick

Due to the nature of the OEM scroll-type rocker arms, use of higher lift cams and higher-than-stock spring pressures can accelerate valve tip and rocker arm pad wear.
BTR's new valve tip saver kit incorporates our newly designed BTR valve locks (and BTR retainers in certain applications) in conjunction with GM lash caps, to help save valve tips, eliminating costly repairs that require cylinder head removal and replacement of damaged valves.
NOTE: If you already have excessive wear on the rocker arm pad, you must replace these at time of install.
NOTE: Due to the use of lash caps, pushrod length must be verified to achieve the proper lifter preload.
