BTR LT4 CONICAL SPRING KIT - .650" - SK014 WITH TIP SAVERS!
We were first to market with a conical valve spring kit for Gen V LT4s. Big whoop, right? WRONG. Weight is the enemy of a proper functioning valvetrain. If your cam isn't too radical, a dual spring kit isn't required. These springs will vastly improve valvetrain stability at high RPM while still supporting up to .650" lift. Made right here in the good ole US of A, this kit includes springs, locks, seals and locators. LT1/L86 engines require SK013.

Due to the nature of the OEM scroll-type rocker arms, use of higher lift cams and higher-than-stock spring pressures can accelerate valve tip and rocker arm pad wear.
NOTE - BTR does not recommend single wire conical or beehive springs with roller rockers due to the extra mass causing loss of valve train stability, or the use of a higher ratio rocker as it could possibly cause a coil bind issue. If you have a specific combination of valvetrain parts you are needing to use a roller rocker on, please call in to our sales team for clarification.
BTR's new valve tip saver kit incorporates our newly designed BTR valve locks (and BTR retainers in certain applications) in conjunction with GM lash caps, to help save valve tips, eliminating costly repairs that require cylinder head removal and replacement of damaged valves.
NOTE: If you already have excessive wear on the rocker arm pad, you must replace these at time of install.
NOTE: Due to the use of lash caps, pushrod length must be verified to achieve the proper lifter preload.
