BTR and Wiseco have formed a partnership to bring an affordable piston to market for LS engines. Constructed out of 2618 forged material, BTR pistons give the consumer options for stock floating pin or aftermarket connecting rods, and stock 3.622", 3.625", or 4.000" crankshaft strokes for a wide variety of applications. Included in the set are .927 piston pins and spiro locks for all 6.125" rod applications, while .943 piston pins and OEM style wire clips are included for all 6.098" (stock) rod applications. These pistons use an OEM style, high quality Mahle piston ring (
41858CP.030
) to keep costs at an affordable level, while still maintaining an OEM quality ring seal.
Pistons are available in 3.780", 3.800", 3.898", 4.000", 4.030", and 4.065" bore sizes.
