Head Stud Kits — The Foundation of Cylinder Head Sealing
Head studs provide superior cylinder head clamping compared to head bolts for one fundamental reason: a stud applies purely tensile load to the sealing surfaces during torquing, whereas a bolt simultaneously applies both tensile and torsional loading that can result in inconsistent clamping force and the tendency for bolts to loosen as the engine cycles through temperature. In high-performance applications — particularly those running boost, nitrous, or high compression — head studs are the professional standard for reliable head gasket sealing.

Engine mounts are a critical component in any engine swap or conversion project. The mount must correctly locate the engine in the chassis, resist the torque and vibration loads generated by the drivetrain, and in many cases accommodate the dimensional differences between the original engine and the replacement unit.
