AN Fittings — The Language of Performance Plumbing
AN fittings — Army-Navy standard, originally developed for aerospace applications — are the universal standard for performance fuel, oil, and cooling system plumbing. The system uses a 37-degree flare sealing surface that provides reliable, repeatable sealing without gaskets or thread sealant, and a standardised size designation (AN-3 through AN-20) that makes fitting selection straightforward once you understand the system. Every AN fitting from any quality manufacturer in the correct size will connect correctly with any other — creating a universal interchangeability that makes building and modifying plumbing systems predictable and reliable.
Our AN fitting range covers the full size spectrum in straight, 45-degree, and 90-degree configurations with both male and female ends, bulk fittings for hard line connections, and banjo configurations for tight-clearance applications.
