The unit is completely potted and encased in a sturdy epoxy compound for protection against harsh environments. Once 12 volts and ground are applied to the only two wires of the unit, a high voltage spark is fired. | For the performance hobbyist and also used for custom projects requiring a continuous energy spark application.
The MSD Continuous Fire Ignitor coil is designed to be used as a stand alone coil on special applications.
