GEN V LT VVT to LS GEN IV Cam Gear Conversion Kit

This VVT lockout kit allows you to use a VVT type Gen V camshaft with an LS2 (4 Pole 3 bolt) or LS3 (4 pole single bolt) cam gear and retain the factory Gen V VVT front cover. While this will sacrifice a small amount of low-mid range torque, you will maintain the same level of high RPM horsepower. Some wire connector trimming is required; see instructions.
For
aftermarket ECU options
, you can use the long BTR conversion sensor BTR-GVCAMSNSR and retain OEM LT Front cover.
For
stock & aftermarket ECU options
, you can use the OEM short GM camshaft position sensor and a VVT-Delete style front cover.
IF YOU HAVE A CAMSHAFT THAT WAS DESIGNED TO BE LOCKED OUT, DO NOT USE THIS KIT!
THIS IS DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH BTR NATURALLY ASPIRATED LT VVT CAMS , BTR GEN V 3 BOLT TURBO CAMS AND
SOME AFTERMARKET GEN V CUSTOM CAMS USING LS VALVE TIMING EVENTS, AS THE OEM GEN V VVT PHASER STILL HAS ADVANCE BUILT-IN FROM THE FACTORY WHEN LOCKED.
USING THE INCORRECT TIMING GEAR WILL CHANGE VALVE TIMING EVENTS AND MAY CAUSE  RUNNING AND INTERFERENCE ISSUES! WHEN IN DOUBT, GIVE US A CALL!
