Every PSI spring begins with wire that is made from the highest quality Chrome-Silicon alloys. The 1200 Series builds on this by employing advanced heat-treating operations. These heat treatments increase the strength of the base materials. This increase in strength results in improvement to the fatigue limit of the wire and better resistance to load loss. These factors together allow the engine builder to push the valve train set-up to the next level. The Max Life process not only makes a good-looking spring, but decreases the possiblity of breakage and failure with a proprietary polish and process, and chamfering of the sping ID's for less retainer wear.
