These flame hoops are made from continuous stainless steel and are made to fit all Chevrolet Gen I-IV 4.400" bore space blocks. 4.370" outside diameter .080" tall .040" thick. These rings should be installed to leave .020" protrusion but up to .030" protrusion has been used. The receiver groove should be .050" wide but up to .070" has been used and the groove depth should be a few thousandths less than the hoop protrusion. Copper gasket thickness should be .070" thick but these hoops have been used with gaskets as thin as .050" thick.
